Project employee (m/f/d) for energy modernization of condominium owners’ associations

Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
The transition in the building sector towards a climate-neutral building stock is a key challenge of the energy transition – particularly in the area of homeowners’ associations (WEG), whose complex decision-making structures place particular demands on energy-efficient refurbishments. In the “Building Forum Climate Neutral”, we are shaping this conversion together with our network partners and local implementers. We pool specialist knowledge, develop practice-oriented solutions, show inspiring examples from the COA context and create space for innovative approaches.

Your tasks

  • Conception and creation of practice-oriented content (e.g. guidelines, action aids, information materials) that are specifically tailored to decision-making processes in COAs
  • Identifying specific information requirements and specialist topics in the area of COA, in close cooperation with our communications team
  • Tracking and evaluating relevant legal framework conditions, technical developments and funding programs, with a particular focus on their significance for COAs
  • Developing creative proposals and preparing relevant content for our target groups together with our communications team
  • Coordinating collaboration with external experts

Your qualifications

  • Completed university degree in a relevant field, such as urban and regional planning, energy and building technology, environmental, climate or sustainability sciences, real estate management or similar
  • Sound knowledge in the field of energy-efficient refurbishment, energy efficiency and climate-neutral construction – ideally with reference to existing buildings and residential property
  • Experience with the legal, technical and organizational framework conditions in WEG – for example WEG law, decision-making processes, ownership structures or funding landscapes
  • Ideally, you have experience in connection with refurbishment decisions and financing obstacles in multi-family buildings
  • Understanding of political and legal developments in the building sector
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a systematic and independent way of working
  • Strong communication skills and strong team spirit as well as a high level of comprehension
  • Very good written and spoken German

  • Participation in the company’s success

  • Individual training budget
  • Dena offers its employees qualification and further training opportunities – from in-house seminars from our further training database to individual specialist seminars.
  • We offer an appreciative, collegial and open working atmosphere. With our specialist expertise, we work together to advance the energy transition and are constantly expanding our knowledge. We are committed to the German Sustainability Code and aim to be climate-neutral by 2030.
