As the grid company of MVV, MVV Netze GmbH is responsible for the operation of its electricity, gas, district heating and water grids in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with around 500 employees.
Your tasks
As an electricity project engineer (m/f/d), you will independently accompany, plan and monitor infrastructure measures in the field of protection and control technology. You will carry out analyses and planning of power grids in the field of protection and control technology You will be responsible for the implementation and testing of protection and control technology as a sub-project manager for new and conversion projects for substations and main substations You are the contact person for system operation and support them with fault analyses You will develop internal standards and guidelines for the operation of digital grid protection systems You will be responsible for the parameterization laptops and network protection servers and support the ISMS officer of MVV grids during audits and certifications You will be responsible for the technical management of a team of system electronics technicians for station control technology assigned to this organizational unit and will plan their deployment You are responsible for monitoring and meeting financial and technical quality targets You will support the sales department in the acquisition of services in the field of protection and control technology
Your qualifications
Completed Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Several years of professional experience Experience in the operation and planning of protection and control technology systems in energy supply and distribution grids is desirable Good knowledge of the required regulations and guidelines Confident in the use of MS Office products Analytical skills, teamwork and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and autonomously Class B driving license
