As the grid company of MVV, MVV Netze GmbH is responsible for the operation of its electricity, gas, district heating and water grids in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with around 500 employees.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for the grid mapping of electricity grids using the NEPLAN grid calculation software You will carry out load flow and short-circuit calculations for low-voltage and medium-voltage grids and present the calculation results and feedback to the customer You maintain and optimize the Excel tools for network recording You record and document load data for electrical network equipment You will work on subtasks for new construction and replacement projects in electricity grid planning (preliminary planning, calculation) You carry out research into standards You will create concepts for the integration of electromobility and renewable power generators
Your qualifications
Completed Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Several years of professional experience Experience in performing load flow and short-circuit calculations for power grids at the 110, 20 and 0.4 kV voltage levels is desirable Good knowledge of the required guidelines and regulations Confident handling of the "NEPLAN" network calculation program and MS Office products High customer orientation Ability to work independently and autonomously
