Project Engineer Energy Transition (m/f/d)
The town of Bad Honnef, with a population of 26,000, is located east of the Rhine in the Cologne/Bonn metropolitan region and the Westerwald. As a municipal energy supply company with 130 dedicated employees, we supply up to 80,000 people in the region with electricity, gas and drinking water and offer innovative and energy-efficient energy services. Your tasks
- You examine and are responsible for renewable energy projects, such as large-scale PV systems and wind power generation plants, in all project phases with regard to their economic, legal and ecological framework conditions.
- Securing suitable sites in the region is the result of your effective exploration.
- The management of existing RE plants is part of your day-to-day business.
- You support the Executive Board with innovative projects, such as river water heat pumps, electrolysers or the development of the new hydrogen infrastructure / gas grid transformation plan.
- You drive the energy transition locally and support our municipalities in the area of municipal heat planning and initiate an energy efficiency network.
- Independent responsibility for investment budgets is a matter of course for you.
Your qualifications
- You are enthusiastic about the energy transition and shape it with innovative projects. You have a degree in engineering with a specialization in supply or environmental technology or a comparable technically oriented, successfully completed degree.
- You will have many years of expertise in the implementation of technical energy generation solutions and will support and manage ongoing and new projects. With your analytical thinking and results-oriented approach, you are able to reconcile economic objectives. As a strong communicator with a confident and loyal manner and negotiating skills, you are able to act effectively.
- In a dynamic environment, you know how to convince the parties involved and motivate them for change through your strong appearance.
