Project Engineer (m/f/d) Asset Management with a focus on electrical and control technology

Your tasks
- Collaboration in the realization of complex and large investment and conversion projects in the field of conventional and renewable power and district heating generation with a focus on electrical and control technology
- Independent project management from concept development, definition of technical specifications, component selection, through the implementation phase to safe commissioning
- Conceptual design and layout of electrical and I&C systems, plant sections and components
- Monitoring and controlling the planning, installation and commissioning of electrical and I&C systems as well as coordinating internal and external service providers
- Preparation and review of planning documents, specifications and tender documents
- Cost controlling and project documentation up to handover to operations and maintenance
- Carrying out fault analyses and implementing solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Collaboration in the development and evaluation of energy concepts for sustainable system optimization and further development of the generation portfolio
- Collaboration with other EVO engineers and specialist departments to ensure project objectives and requirements are met
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies (Master’s or Diploma) in the field of electrical engineering, process control engineering, industrial engineering with a corresponding technical focus or, alternatively, completed technical training in the aforementioned areas with demonstrable specialist knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience
- Relevant professional experience in the planning, project planning, commissioning and/or operation of electrical and process control systems, ideally in the utility/power plant environment
- Extensive experience in project management
- Knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations in the field of electrical engineering
- Knowledge of waste management and waste incineration, wood pellet production and energy generation from innovative systems is an advantage
- Experience with relevant software tools for planning and simulation, e.g. MATLAB, AutoCAD, EPlan etc.
- Familiarity with process control systems and their professional use
- Confident handling of MS Office products (especially Excel) and experience with SAP (ERP, PM) desirable
