Project engineer specializing in building energy efficiency (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- They advise our clients strategically and provide technical and economic advice to interested parties in the field of economical and rational energy conversion and use, the use of renewable energies and increasing energy efficiency.
- You assess technically and economically innovative (investment) projects in the energy and building sector, in particular with regard to the actual chances of implementation and possible (project) funding.
- They undertake the technical examination and evaluation of project outlines, concepts and studies that are intended to demonstrate the potential of (subsidized) projects as well as their opportunities and risks.
- They provide technical support for projects that contribute to the successful implementation of the energy transition in Hesse.
- They are involved in (contracting) projects in the areas of energy management, lighting modernization (indoor and outdoor) or in the area of municipal heat planning.
- They support innovation-related measures such as providing information in committees or working groups, qualification of specialist professions, etc.
Your qualifications
- You have a degree, preferably in a relevant engineering course in the fields of energy and building services engineering, process or supply engineering, industrial engineering or (civil) physics.
- Your way of working is characterized by a quick grasp, thoroughness and the ability to work in a team.
- You have a basic understanding of economic, technical, ecological and energy policy issues and can present work results convincingly.
- Experience in working with the public sector and in the area of project sponsorship is desirable.
- Knowledge of the European Structural Funds, EC regulations on state aid law (e.g. AGVO) and public procurement law (e.g. VGV) is an advantage.
- You are confident in using MS-Office, speak and write German fluently and have a class B or 3 driving license.
