The Renewable BW division helps drive the expansion of renewable energy in the state. As part of the National Climate Protection Initiative, the Federal Ministry for the Environment is funding the joint project “BEEKOMM — Accelerating the Expansion of Renewable Energy in Municipalities” with the goal of supporting municipalities in advancing the expansion of renewable energy—with a focus on wind energy and ground-mounted photovoltaics—from a technical, organizational, and communications perspective. KEA-BW leads and coordinates this nationwide collaborative project.

Your Responsibilities

  • Overall project management and oversight of the nationwide collaborative project “BEEKOMM—Accelerating the Expansion of Renewable Energy in Municipalities.”
  • Coordinating collaboration and actively communicating with project partners.
  • Organizing and facilitating network meetings, workshops, and exchange forums.
  • Taking the lead in communication and administrative coordination with funding agencies and project sponsors.
  • Responsibility for monitoring, documentation, and reporting, as well as the preparation of interim and final reports.
  • Establishing and further developing a nationwide sharing platform as well as a consortium-wide modular training program.
  • Providing technical and organizational leadership for the project team and ensuring the targeted use of project resources.
  • Conducting project and budget monitoring and ensuring quality throughout the project.
  • Coordinating project goals and processes with other projects and departments at KEA-BW.
  • Representing the technical content within the project consortium and contributing to the institutionalization of the project results.

Your Qualifications

  • A relevant academic degree or a comparable qualification.
  • In-depth expertise in the fields of renewable energy, the energy transition, and municipal climate protection.
  • Several years of experience in leading and managing projects, ideally collaborative or grant-funded projects.
  • Knowledge of municipal structures and decision-making processes, and ideally experience in facilitating and moderating dialogue processes.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by municipalities.
  • A structured, methodical, and efficient approach to work, combined with an openness to pragmatic solutions; strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Confident, persuasive demeanor and the ability to speak freely.
  • Very good written and spoken German.
  • Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills.
  • A clear commitment to and motivation for climate protection and sustainable development.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and Baden-Württemberg, as well as between the two KEA-BW locations in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
