Project manager for the technical planning of high and extra-high voltage systems (m/f/d) – Franconia and Southern Bavaria

We are looking for a passionate Project Manager (m/f/d) for the technical planning of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage systems for the Franconia and Southern Bavaria region. This position is to be filled at the Bayreuth site.
Grid Field Operations Germany (GFG) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the German electricity grid, ensuring a secure supply for our end customers and society as a whole. Your tasks
- Your main task is technical project development and engineering planning for the construction and optimization of high and extra-high voltage systems (substations, switchgear, overhead line and cable systems)
- You translate specific project orders into detailed technical concepts. You follow the implementation of these technical concepts and are responsible for any necessary plan adjustments
- You support the initiation teams in the pre-planning phase and carry out the necessary site analyses, feasibility studies and technical assessments
- You will take over the project management in the planning phase of grid expansion or maintenance projects and therefore also the coordination of all project participants until completion. You will also support the approval and construction teams
- We entrust you with the definition of the concept for the realization of the project order, as well as with the fulfillment of the project goals with regard to quality, budget and time for the planning phase
Your qualifications
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering or industrial engineering with a focus on electrical engineering / energy technology or a comparable qualification
- You have sound professional experience in the planning and implementation of technical projects in the electrical energy supply sector or the energy industry or similar infrastructure projects
- You need an interest in interdisciplinary processes and activities as well as the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams
- You have very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English, as we operate internationally
- A class B driver’s license and a certain willingness to travel (also in a European environment) round off your profile
