Your tasks
Actively help shape the heat transformation in the city of Basel and manage complex construction sites in the district heating sector and connect new customer connections to the district heating network. Close cooperation with the divisions (natural gas, water, electricity and fiber optics). Procuring materials in accordance with IWB specifications and the Submission Act. Supervise construction sites on site, including adherence to deadlines and quality. Organize and manage final inspections of structures, pipelines, insulation, etc.
Your qualifications
You have the desire - and plenty of drive - to make Basel even more environmentally friendly and liveable with your projects. Basic training as a pipe fitter or heating engineer or similar. Several years of experience in the construction of district heating networks (heating networks, water network 90' and/or hot water 115') and ideally experience in civil engineering. Knowledge of thermodynamics; pipe statics, pipe expansion and welding technology are no foreign words for you. You are a team player, you can be relied on and you keep an overview even in hectic situations.
