Project Manager Heat Transition (m/f/d)

• As Project Manager Heat Transition (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing the large-scale project Heat Transition Metropolitan Region Rhine-Neckar from the grid infrastructure side.
• You will manage experts across the value chain who are responsible for projects/sub-projects as part of the Wärmewende program
• You will drive project planning and management and be responsible for budget controlling
• You will work closely with experts from the grid operator MVV Netze GmbH to implement the technical side of the heating transition
• You create reports and templates up to board level
• You are the interface to key stakeholders in the heating transition in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region (e.g. city, associations, guilds) and drive the transformation process towards climate neutrality forward
• You develop concrete, long-term effective measures to implement the heat transition

• Completed Master’s degree in engineering or a comparable qualification
• Many years of extensive professional experience, preferably in the energy industry, ideally in district heating
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working with relevant experience in project management of complex projects
• Confident handling of agile project management methods
• Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as strong communication skills, with a certain ability to think outside the box
• Enthusiasm for topics related to the decarbonization of the energy supply and willingness to travel on business trips
• You understand the importance of cross-divisional cooperation and work accordingly with a high degree of team orientation
