Project Manager International Project Management Office (m/f/d)
The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The Group’s project pipeline currently amounts to more than 19 gigawatts in all of its markets. It also manages wind and PV parks via its operations management company UKB.
Your tasks
- As part of the International Department at the company headquarters, International Project Management works closely with the foreign locations in Europe, the USA and Latin America.
- Development and implementation of uniform project management standards: independent design, creation and updating of process documents, templates and tools, drawing on the many years of experience of the German project development business
- Proactive initiation and control of optimization measures for processes, procedures or (project) documentation in cooperation with the International Project Managers and International Due Diligence and implementation of lessons learned; if necessary, adaptation to country-specific requirements
- Organization and implementation of training courses on project management standards
- Contact person for the foreign locations and internal specialist groups with regard to standards, templates and processes for international project management and international due diligence
- Interface to the PMO of the German business
- Support in the design and further development of internal reporting and portfolio management
- Preparing presentations and decision papers for internal and external stakeholders and taking minutes
- Further support with strategic projects in international business
Your qualifications
- You have completed training or a degree with a technical, legal or business management focus.
- You have initial professional experience in project management, preferably in the field of renewable energies and in an international environment, and the necessary understanding of projects and processes.
- You have a high level of comprehension, problem-solving skills and the ability to draw systematic conclusions from individual projects and translate these into practical suggestions for improving processes and procedures.
- You have a high level of digital competence in dealing with processes and analyzing project data as well as advanced knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- A structured way of working and strong teamwork and communication skills round off your profile.
- Fluent German and business fluent English are a basic requirement, further foreign language skills (e.g. Spanish, Italian, Polish) are welcome.
