KEA Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Baden-Württemberg GmbH is the state’s energy agency. KEA-BW’s task is to actively participate in climate protection measures in Baden-Württemberg: it supports the state government in promoting the topics of energy saving, rational energy use and the use of renewable energies. KEA-BW also focuses on sustainable mobility and water management tasks.

The Renewable BW division helps to drive forward the expansion of renewable energies in the state, particularly in the wind and solar energy sectors, to increase the provision of land for this expansion and to promote the energy transition. The KEA-BW assumes the central task of mediating between municipalities and project planners and publicizing solutions (“best practices”) in the state. It acts as a central point of contact for project developers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
Your tasks
- The development of concrete support services to accelerate the construction of wind energy and ground-mounted PV systems at municipal level
- Networking and supporting central key players to promote the expansion of renewable energies locally
- Active networking in various specialist committees, primarily in the areas of wind energy and ground-mounted PV
- Providing initial advice to municipal decision-makers on wind energy and ground-mounted PV
- Conception and implementation of events on the topic of the energy transition, with a focus on the expansion of wind energy and ground-mounted PV, including lectures.
Your qualifications
- Scientific university degree or comparable qualification
- Specialist knowledge in the fields of wind energy, photovoltaics and climate protection
- Experience in dealing with municipal processes and ideally in the communicative support and moderation of dialog processes
- A deep understanding of the challenges facing local authorities
- Structured, independent and efficient way of working while being open to pragmatic solutions
- Appreciative and inspiring communication style and negotiating skills
- Willingness to travel and occasional evening and weekend appointments
- Open mindset and intrinsic motivation to advance the energy transition
