Project manager planning and realization – district heating (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- As a project manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the economic, timely and compliant planning and construction management of network investment, connection and relocation projects in the district heating sector. You will accompany the projects from early planning to commissioning and act as the link between customers (m/f/d), internal departments and external service providers.
- Consulting and project preparation: You are the central point of contact for our customers (m/f/d), installers (m/f/d) and planning offices for new connections, extensions and changes to the district heating network. You will support approval procedures, taking into account technical and legal requirements.
- Planning and coordination: You check and create plans in work phases 1 to 5 HOAI, calculate media connections and relocations and coordinate closely with service providers, EWP and other project participants. You will also ensure smooth cooperation between all parties involved as well as seamless documentation and quality assurance across all project phases.
- Procurement and awarding: In close coordination with the purchasing department, you will prepare tenders, participate in awarding contracts and implement orders to framework contractors (service phases 6 to 7 HOAI).
- Realization and construction: You manage the construction work in work phases 8 to 9 HOAI, keep an eye on deadlines, costs and quality and monitor the professional implementation in accordance with the applicable standards, specifications of the network companies You also carry out acceptance and functional tests and are responsible for supplementary management, rectification of defects and invoicing.
- Quality and regulatory compliance: You ensure compliance with construction and safety regulations as well as legal and contractual requirements, thus contributing to the high quality and reliability of our district heating projects.
Your qualifications
- Education: You have a successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: energy and environmental engineering, supply or process engineering, civil engineering (infrastructure or civil engineering) or comparable.
- Knowledge: It is an advantage if you are already familiar with the regulations for utility companies (e.g. VDE, HOAI, VOB).
- Software: You are familiar with MS Office applications. You are also interested in using GIS, SAP and calculation programs in your daily work.
- Soft skills: You have good communication skills and assertiveness. You are also team-oriented, flexible, motivated and able to work independently.
- Additional: A driving license (at least class B/class 3) rounds off your profile.
