Project Manager Power Grid (m/f/d)
SWE Netz GmbH , a company of the Stadtwerke Erfurt Group, performs the activities of an electricity and gas grid operator. The company provides the grid infrastructure in the state capital of Erfurt with a concession area of 270 km for the electricity and gas grid, operates it economically and is also responsible for non-discriminatory and independent grid access.
Your tasks
- Planning and project management of electricity grids
- Technical planning of high, medium and low-voltage grids as well as special grid connections
- Project planning for supply networks in new development areas, housing estates and commercial properties
- Coordination with authorities, building owners, specialist planners and internal interfaces
- Preparation of approval and implementation plans
- Determination of project costs, creation of specifications and material lists
- Technical implementation of grid connections
- Customer consulting for new or modified grid connections
- Technical clarification and offer management with investors and clients
- Coordination of technical implementation with network owners and external planning offices
- Helping to shape the grids of tomorrow
- Implementation of projects in the area of charging infrastructure for electromobility
- Integration of controllable consumption devices
- Development of smart solutions for the low-voltage grid
- Participation in internal and external working groups on innovation topics
- Participation in the on-call service
- Assuming responsibility in the on-call service to ensure grid availability
Your qualifications
- Completed training as a technician (m/f/d) or a (technical) university degree in the field of electrical engineering, supply engineering or a comparable degree
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering (theoretical and practical), ideally experience in power grid operation
- Strong communication skills, confident manner, negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Initial knowledge of contract and project management desirable
- Routine in dealing with standard IT applications
- Basic knowledge of the relevant VDE standards and the technical rules of the VDE FNN
- Class B driving license
- Confident knowledge of German (language level at least C1)
