Project planner for grid connection and cable route (m/f/d)
The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The Group’s project pipeline currently amounts to more than 19 gigawatts in all of its markets. It also manages wind and PV parks via its operations management company UKB.
Your tasks
- As a grid connection and cable route project planner (m/f/d), you will be responsible for connecting our future energy parks to the electricity grid. With your communication skills, you will be able to express yourself appropriately and will not shy away from interdepartmental exchange or communication with authorities and external service providers. Your work will make an important contribution to the expansion of renewable energies and climate-friendly energy generation, and you will be part of a motivated grid planning team that also works closely together across locations. There is also a particularly intensive exchange with the grid technology group.
- You coordinate the implementation of the grid connection for wind turbines, solar power plants and storage solutions
- You communicate with grid operators about connection options and evaluate this information with the support of our specialist groups
- You determine the optimal connection point to the public power grid
- You plan the route of the cable routes
- You talk to authorities and commission external service providers
Your qualifications
- A successfully completed degree, ideally in engineering or natural sciences, economics, landscape/environmental planning, environmental sciences, geography or a comparable course of study or completed vocational training
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, quick comprehension and enjoy finding creative solutions
- GIS knowledge and a basic interest in technical issues desirable Willingness to travel on a small scale
- Previous knowledge and professional experience in the development of renewable energy projects, in particular wind energy, is desirable but not essential
