The KEA-BW’s mission is to actively contribute to climate protection measures in Baden-Württemberg: It supports the state government in advancing energy conservation, efficient energy use, and the use of renewable energy. The Renewable BW division helps drive the expansion of renewable energy—particularly in the wind and solar energy sectors—within the state, increase the availability of land for this expansion, and promote the energy transition. In this context, KEA-BW plays a central role in mediating between municipalities and project developers and in disseminating solutions (“best practices”) throughout the state. It serves as a central point of contact for project developers, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include:
Researching exemplary projects and providing communication support for the implementation of new projects in the field of renewable energy
Compiling best-practice examples for presentation on the website as well as for print and online publications
Designing and developing appropriate measures to actively promote best-practice examples among local stakeholders
Organizing and supporting media productions in the area of best-practice communication, both for specific project examples and in the context of roundtable discussions, webinars, or similar events, primarily in the form of video content
Coordination with service providers and partners
Budget responsibility
Operational implementation of high-impact formats for the Renewable BW division as part of ongoing public relations efforts
Conceptual refinement of the communication strategy and formats for the Renewable BW division in coordination with KEA-BW
Here's what we'd like:
A college degree in communications, media studies, or the humanities, or another college degree combined with a relevant graduate program or additional qualifications (e.g., an internship) or comparable degrees and knowledge
Several years of relevant professional experience, exceptional writing skills with journalistic standards, even when dealing with complex content
Experience in the conception and production of communication materials, as well as in managing external service providers, particularly in the fields of PR and video
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), ideally TYPO3; knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM) is also desirable
Ideally, a strong sense of graphic design and visual language, as well as experience with editing, audio, and video technology
A structured, methodical, and efficient approach to work, combined with an openness to pragmatic solutions; strategic and analytical thinking
Confident, persuasive demeanor and the ability to speak freely
Very good written and spoken German
Teamwork and communication skills
