Purchasing and Construction Services Officer for the SALCOS project (f/m/d)

Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the overall content of the procurement of construction services, including for our major SALCOS project, in compliance with private contract award rules and the provisions of public/EU procurement law.
- You will independently conduct award negotiations for construction orders and contracts, taking full account of the VOB regulations.
- You will check and evaluate project risks and contract disruptions, initiate appropriate complaints if necessary and pursue targeted remedial measures.
- You will ensure the content documentation and reporting and coordinate events and results relevant to the contract.
- You will work on the continuous improvement of contract management in collaboration with the specialist departments and internal and external interfaces.
- You will develop alternative procurement sources and markets, carry out value-analytical procurement analyses and prepare content evaluations for this purpose.
Your qualifications
- You have a degree or master’s degree in civil or industrial engineering, law, business administration or a comparable field.
- You have several years of professional experience in the planning and execution of projects, preferably in the steel industry or in the energy sector or in industrial plant construction.
- Ideally, you have experience in claim management and are therefore familiar with the special features of the systematic preparation and processing of contractual supplements and deviations in construction projects.
- You are confident in using MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP MM.
- You have excellent communication skills, preferably also in English.
- You convince with initiative, assertiveness, a sense of responsibility, team spirit and a results-oriented way of thinking and working.
