THD is regarded as the university of applied sciences in Bavaria with the strongest research focus and the most international character. At the Pfarrkirchen campus, all degree programs are taught exclusively in English, making the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI) a cosmopolitan and modern work environment. The ECRI is centrally located. It is situated in the charming county seat of Pfarrkirchen, which belongs to the administrative district of Lower Bavaria and is located in southeastern Germany. The town is idyllically situated between the Danube and Inn rivers and offers many recreational activities. Pfarrkirchen boasts excellent schools and educational opportunities. Attractive nearby cities include Passau, Regensburg, Linz, and Salzburg, and Munich International Airport is just a 90-minute drive away. Its proximity to Austria and the Czech Republic places this county seat at the heart of Europe. Employees can spend their breaks in the campus cafeteria, and parking is available right on campus.
