Your Responsibilities at GIGA.GREEN
Get to know our company, our internal processes and tools, and our team
Gain an overview of existing project approaches and standards in the areas of feasibility studies and roof renovation
Accompany initial on-site inspections and assist with ongoing projects to familiarize yourself with the entire process
Support the team in conducting feasibility analyses for rooftop PV projects, with a particular focus on the structural suitability of the roof deck, insulation, and lightning and fire protection
Conduct on-site inspections of locations, analyze and document the condition of the roof, and, if necessary, determine renovation measures
Coordinate with internal project stakeholders, external experts, and partner companies to obtain quotes for renovation measures
Oversee the implementation of renovation projects and ensure that they are carried out according to plan by our partner companies
Continuously support the further development of our standards in the areas of structural inspection, renovation, and construction supervision
Contribute your technical expertise to the selection of new partners and tools
Support the team with your structural engineering expertise on special projects and interdisciplinary issues
What you'll bring to the table:
Completed training as a roofer or master roofer (all levels) or comparable technical training
Several years of experience in conducting feasibility analyses for roofs, as well as in planning and implementing roof renovations
Enjoys interacting with customers and working on-site
Basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for PV installations
An independent, structured, and reliable work style
Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Class B driver’s license and a high willingness to travel (approx. 60%)
