We are looking for you to join us as a Sales Engineer for Energy Solutions (m/f/d) for our sales region in Western Saxony and Thuringia.


Here are the skills we’re looking for...

Technical degree or vocational training:

  • You have successfully completed a technical degree, for example as an industrial engineer (m/f/d) in the fields of energy and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Alternatively, you are a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or possess comparable technical expertise, such as that of an industrial foreman (m/f/d).

Professional Experience / Expertise:

  • You have solid, practical experience in energy engineering or the energy industry.
  • In addition, you have already gained valuable business management experience through your previous roles.
  • You have extensive experience in professional interactions and communication with customers, preferably in the energy sector, as well as in contract management.
  • Project management—including precise cost estimates—as well as the dedicated implementation, participation, and leadership of projects come naturally to you and are a source of great satisfaction.

Digital Skills:

  • You have a very good command of MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Word, and are familiar with modern CRM systems.

Language and Other Skills:

  • You have business-level proficiency in German, enabling you to communicate confidently and on equal footing.

Professional demeanor and work style:

  • You have a confident, professional demeanor and are distinguished by a strong service orientation in your interactions and negotiations with customers and partners.
  • Your work style is characterized by cross-functional and analytical thinking.
  • You work proactively and are interested in helping to shape sales activities and sales processes.

Development and Project Management:

  • You will develop customized and sustainable solutions for heat, electricity, and cooling supply.
  • You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of project implementation with the relevant operational units and internal stakeholders.
  • Another key responsibility is the transition of existing supply sites to a future-oriented, green energy supply.

Customer Contact:

  • You will be responsible for proactive customer acquisition and providing expert advice in your sales territory.
  • You will support customers directly on-site and work to sustainably maintain and expand trusting customer relationships.

Contract Management and Administration:

  • You will prepare technical and financial calculations as well as customized proposals and conduct successful contract negotiations through to the final drafting of contracts.
  • You will handle public tenders and be responsible for professionally managing project-related inquiries.
  • You provide valuable support in customer service and billing, particularly through your advisory expertise and your valued customer perspective.
