Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the development and sale of large battery projects in the European markets (DE, GB, GR, NL). Pursue the goal of bringing projects to construction maturity with us. Cooperation with local authorities, grid operators and project development partners are important activities in your day-to-day work.
- Responsibility: You qualify and develop battery storage projects in selected markets, from the initial assessment to the start of construction, identify potential co-development partners and conduct cooperation negotiations.
- Drive projects forward: You will develop and maintain relationships with local project stakeholders, grid operators and authorities. In close coordination with internal teams and external partners, you support the technical and commercial progress of projects.
- Structure & Strategy: You will lead contract negotiations, monitor budgets and schedules and analyze economic feasibility through financial modeling.
- Recognize market opportunities: You monitor and evaluate new target markets in terms of the economic viability of battery storage and identify local business opportunities.
Your qualifications
- Professional experience: Experience in the development of projects for PV and battery systems and a strong understanding of the market fundamentals that influence investment decisions in the BESS sector
- Electricity markets: Initial knowledge of European electricity markets in terms of grid services and revenue streams relevant to the business case of battery storage projects
- Working style: Structured and proactive way of working as well as a high level of commitment, team player and presentation skills to communicate effectively with senior decision makers and management
- Professional qualification: University degree in economics, business administration, finance, renewable energy or other relevant technical/economic background
- Languages and willingness to travel: Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally
