Sales Representative (m/f/d) Wholesale

Your tasks

  • Become part of the VARO Wholesale team
  • As a Sales Representative (m/f/d) Wholesale, you are a central interface in our company – with the aim of acquiring new customers and providing long-term support to existing ones. Your focus will be on the term and spot business with our B2B customers in the mineral oil sector. You will continuously monitor the market, analyze customer needs and competitive activities – and align your sales strategy accordingly.
  • You are the central contact person for a customer base assigned to you.
  • You will be responsible for sales of our main products: Diesel B7, VARO Renewable Diesel HVO100, gasoline and heating oil.
  • You will play an active role in establishing and developing our customer relationship management.
  • You will acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships – through regular exchanges, personal visits on site and presence at industry events.
  • You keep an eye on market trends and developments and use them to develop your sales and market strategy.
  • You continuously analyze price developments and identify opportunities and risks at an early stage.
  • You plan and manage sales volumes in your sales territory – with a view to the market, customers and company targets.
  • You support the Team Lead Wholesale Stuttgart in the development and implementation of our overall strategy.

Your qualifications

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a comparable position – e.g. as an Account Manager.
  • Ideally, you have already worked in the energy or mineral oil industry, for example in retail, in a refinery or in a similar environment.
  • You communicate in a clear, engaging and friendly manner.
  • You are customer-oriented and have very good negotiation skills and tactics – combined with a confident, honest and convincing manner.
  • You have a results-oriented “hands-on” mentality and like to lend a hand.
  • Independent, organized and proactive work is a matter of course for you – you remain calm even in a dynamic market environment.
  • You think analytically, recognize connections quickly and have a good sense of how business processes can be further optimized.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
