Your tasks

The best possible hedging of the risk positions of assigned customers for all relevant commodities in close coordination with the Trading and Portfolio Management departments. Cross-divisional cooperation with the sales departments with the aim of providing the best possible customer service and interface expansion. You are responsible for sustainable PnL generation by applying state-of-the-art methodologies and hedging strategies for your own area of responsibility in Sales Trading. You are responsible for the monetary book and PnL responsibility for the relevant order books and are responsible for the maintenance and limit monitoring. You coordinate and trade customer orders via internal and external market and price hedging accesses and are responsible as the main contact person for maintaining and developing contacts with important customers. You are responsible for coordinating the processing and analysis of market requirements, complexity and volatility for the continuous and best possible management of market price and earnings risks for the assigned clients and internal divisions. Your tasks will include the development and implementation of customer-driven hedging strategies to ensure sustainable and earnings-increasing energy coverage.


Your qualifications

Completed Master's or Diploma university degree in economics, natural sciences or a comparable course of study Several years of trading experience, EEX exchange admission and professional experience in the energy and financial markets and their products Ability to work independently as well as in project and process management Knowledge of the energy industry in relation to sales activities as well as national and European regulatory requirements (financial market regulations and energy industry) Business fluent in English and very good knowledge of German
