Your tasks
You are enthusiastic about helping to shape the energy system of the future and will be joining the Energy System Planning - Market Analysis team You will be part of a technical working group of the four German transmission system operators You will work on the creation of energy industry scenarios and market analyses, e.g. for the electricity grid development plan Your work will focus, for example, on electricity consumption modelling and the harmonization of data between European and national processes You will use Matlab and Python applications for your analyses
Your qualifications
You have successfully completed your studies (FH / Uni) in engineering, computer science, economics or a comparable qualification with a background in energy technology or energy economics Ideally, you have relevant professional experience and experience with energy market modeling You are confident in dealing with large amounts of data and can analyze them using programming languages (preferably Matlab, Python) We require very good verbal and written communication skills in German and a good command of English A willingness to travel occasionally rounds off your profile
