Your tasks

In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating structured products, portfolios and business models as well as recommending investment and hedging strategies in energy trading. You will be responsible for making decision and strategy recommendations based on model results and evaluating the model results of third parties, particularly with regard to long-term price scenarios, price forward curves, (real) option valuations and risk premiums. You will create the content requirements for this, in particular by setting up corresponding price and fundamental databases. You will use state-of-the-art programming languages and be responsible for the digitalization, further development and automation of processes and applications in trading and portfolio management. You will work independently and on your own responsibility on specialist topics and continuously analyze developments in the competitive environment in order to integrate appropriate methodologies into your area of responsibility.


Your qualifications

University degree, diploma or master's degree in economics or natural sciences with a strong quantitative focus, preferably also a doctorate You have expertise in the energy industry, particularly in trading Advanced knowledge of the energy and financial markets and their products is required You are familiar with the national regulatory requirements in the financial market and the energy industry Data and problem analysis and problem-solving skills are essential for this position You work independently and have self-discipline and process competence Experience in project and process management is also desirable English (CI) German (C2)
