Your tasks
- Supervision of a defined purchasing area: composition of various product groups and organizational units assigned to the requirements.
- Strategic procurement: Development and implementation of purchasing strategies to ensure the optimal supply of materials and services.
- Supplier management: Selection, evaluation and maintenance of supplier relationships, including negotiations on commercial and technical contract components.
- Needs analysis: Carrying out market analyses and needs assessments in order to make the best purchasing decisions.
- Order processing: Creation and management of purchase orders and framework agreements as well as legally compliant processing of any contractual disruptions.
- Cost control: Monitoring and optimizing purchasing costs, identifying potential savings and implementing cost-cutting measures.
- Quality assurance: Ensuring the quality of purchased materials and services through regular reviews and process audits.
- Reporting and documentation: Preparation of reports and statistics on purchasing performance and documentation of all relevant processes and decisions.
- Digitalization of purchasing processes: Use and development of the software used in the company (SAP module MM as well as special software for building construction and civil engineering).
Your qualifications
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the energy sector.
- Good negotiating and communication skills.
- Legally compliant negotiation skills (BGB, HGB, VOB) for the conclusion of purchase, work and service contracts.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to understand and evaluate complex relationships.
- Technical understanding of the procurement projects of a network operator in the electricity, gas and water sectors.
- Experience in supplier management and in carrying out market analyses.
- Confident handling of SAP, MM module and the usual MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a team, goal orientation, conscientiousness and performance orientation round off your profile.
