Senior Controller (m/f/d) District Heating

• You will be responsible for preparing the basis for decisions to secure the district heating result in accordance with Group guidelines. You will prepare ad-hoc analyses and advise the Management Board, divisional management and other managers on issues relating to earnings development.
• You will prepare business area planning for the district heating product in accordance with the specifications of the Management Board and divisional management in coordination with the finance department and the planning activities of the value creation stages. You implement the agreed budget and initiate measures in the event of target/actual deviations.
• You will implement and further develop the district heating control and planning model in accordance with the specifications of the Management Board and divisional management. You will optimize the planning processes and internal cost allocation in coordination with the finance department.
• You will regularly review the district heating yield and carry out price adjustments in close coordination with the Legal and Compliance Management department.
• You will coordinate closely with the Finance, Trading, Risk Management and Sales departments in order to achieve the earnings targets for district heating.
• The internal job title is Senior Expert District Heating Management.

• Completed university degree in a business-related subject or in a subject related to the energy industry
• User knowledge of SAP and BW as well as excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good skills in data preparation/aggregation/processing as well as a good understanding of information technology and process-related contexts
• Affinity for technical contexts and energy industry experience are an advantage
• Goal- and result-oriented way of working as well as an independent, structured and quality-oriented way of working
• Business fluent in written and spoken German
