Senior expert (m/f/d) data governance in the field of digital technologies
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- Digitalization is a key success factor for a successful transformation of the energy system. Dena’s Digital Technologies & Start-up Ecosystem department is responsible for the “Future Energy Lab” and “Data Institute – Use Case Energy” projects, among others, and oversees all dena activities relating to data governance, data infrastructures, data economy, data analysis for energy markets and grids, digitalization of energy infrastructures and cyber security.
- Strengthening the data governance team, especially in the area of digital identity management and decentralized data infrastructures
- Independent management of complex projects, incl. management of subcontractors and steering of stakeholder processes in the context of the technical, economic and regulatory development of the topic area
- Moderation of project meetings, workshops and events
- Research and analysis of information, comprehensible and attractive preparation and presentation of results
- Contributing to the further development of the field of work and the development and consolidation of knowledge and methods
- Development of innovative project approaches and acquisition in the field of work, including analysis and continuous monitoring of the associated market field
- Development and management of specialist working groups and consultations with cooperation partners from politics, science, business, administration and associations
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in a relevant field (economics, engineering, computer science or social sciences, especially political science)
- 3-5 years of work experience in the fields of energy systems and/or digitalization
- Experience in the management and development of complex projects, incl. management of external service providers, budget and time planning as well as workshop management
- Very good communication skills appropriate to the target audience
- Good understanding of political and economic contexts and dynamics in the field of innovation
- Sound knowledge of the current challenges of the energy transition and the opportunities of digitalization, ideally knowledge in the field of data governance
- Strong analytical and conceptual working skills, ability to work independently
- Very good demeanor and high level of commitment in dealing with cooperation partners
- Motivation for the subject area and a strong ability to work in a team
- Very good written and spoken German
