Senior GIS Manager (m/f/d) Application Management
Your tasks
- Collaboration in initial acquisition or optimization projects, as well as data cleansing including further development of the GIS
- Support/implementation of GIS parameterization in coordination with IT as well as data validation between the UT for ArcGIS and VertiGIS Networks systems
- Support with quality management (including guidelines and work instructions) and process optimization
- Providing internal training and application support in matters relating to network data management, GIS and other technical software
- Preparation of key figures and reports, as well as clarification of discrepancies with network operations and other organizational units. Graphical processing of network data to create thematic maps and special plans
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in geoinformatics, geodesy or surveying or – acquired in several years of professional practice – comparable knowledge
- Sound GIS knowledge – ideally with VertiGIS Networks, UT for ArcGIS, FME and Python (administration, data analysis and processing), as well as design of thematic maps
- Good database skills (Oracle, MS Access)
- High level of initiative, communication skills and solution orientation
- Independent and quality-conscious way of working
- High customer and team orientation
- Ideally industry and process knowledge in the energy sector
- Experience in the creation of learning videos for software applications and/or experience in the use of AI software is an advantage
