Your tasks
- Advising the top management of leading companies in the energy sector on challenging strategy projects covering the areas of energy generation, trading, transmission, storage, distribution and consumption
- Technical project responsibility for strategy projects and transformation programs and significant involvement in consulting projects in the context of the energy transition. A particular focus here is on accelerating energy transition projects in grid expansion, the heating transition, electrification and the industrialization of products in the energy equipment sector
- Independent creation of content and publications along the entire energy industry value chain, including the development of innovative approaches and transformation models
- Active participation in knowledge development and comprehensive knowledge acquisition on energy industry strategies from the perspective of the top management of our clients in the energy sector
- Support in project acquisitions and conceptual development of relevant key topics in the energy sector, such as e-fuels, hydrogen or storage technology
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree, ideally with a focus on economics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree program with a focus on energy economics, international management
- Several years of professional experience in a strategy or management consultancy with a focus on energy or several years of practical experience in an advisory role in the internal strategy department of an energy supplier, plant manufacturer or an innovative, leading medium-sized company/start-up
- Sound knowledge in the conception and implementation of transformation projects in the energy environment in the areas of strategy, efficiency programs, business field development, industrialization and increasing operational capability
- Inspiring leadership skills, strong communication skills as well as a pronounced client orientation and entrepreneurial thinking (entrepreneurship)
- Practical experience in holistic project management in the energy environment – from target definition, staffing, task differentiation and team leadership to successful project completion
- Great interest in trends in the energy industry environment and new technologies
- Very good analytical skills and a conceptual mindset
- Structured and professional way of working
- An open, communicative, team-oriented and empathetic personality
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- High willingness to travel at home and abroad
