European Energy is an internationally established company headquartered in Copenhagen that has been implementing renewable energy projects since 2004 and continues to grow steadily. We operate globally, developing, planning, financing, building, and operating wind and solar farms through to their sale.
In this context, we are very active in M&A across the entire value chain. In addition, we are working on the development of forward-looking energy solutions, such as Power-to-X. We maintain close collaboration with local stakeholders and aim to involve all parties in the process.

How to Make an Impact:
In this role, you will manage complex transactions and play an active role in key decision-making. You will:
Oversee transactions throughout the entire deal lifecycle—from approvals, due diligence, and data room setup to investor outreach, negotiations, and closing
Develop M&A assumptions and business cases based on market and investor feedback
Coordinate deal teams, including financial modeling, data room structure, and marketing materials
Work closely with Legal, Tax, Project Development, and external partners
Negotiate and drive forward the SPA and other transaction documents
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and key stakeholders
What you bring to the table:
A master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
Several years of experience as a (senior) transaction manager in M&A, corporate finance, or investment management
In-depth knowledge of financial modeling and project management
Strong communication skills with fluency in German and English
A proactive, curious, and dedicated individual with an interest in financial markets, the green transition, and genuine teamwork
