Your tasks
- In this exciting field of activity, you will be responsible for operating and servicing secondary protection equipment for overhead lines and transformers. This includes commissioning, functional testing and troubleshooting
- You will also support the implementation of projects and work closely with our service providers
- You will be responsible for processing the circuit documents and coordinating and instructing external companies on site
- Another focus is the acceptance and testing of parameter settings for protection devices
- Your working day usually starts from home with a company car, which can also be used privately under certain conditions.
- You will mainly work at our substations and plants in the Hesse region, in Frankfurt am Main, Fulda and Giessen
- The Field Operations AC department carries out field work such as maintenance, overhauls and small projects for AC systems, including asset data, documentation and standardization. It takes on technical roles in larger projects and operates communication and automation networks. The unit performs detailed engineering services for various systems and provides centralized technical support for other execution units. Clear performance targets and OKRs are defined for control purposes.
Your qualifications
- You have completed training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering or have a comparable qualification. Further training as a master electrician/technician is ideally available or is something you are aiming for
- Experience in the above-mentioned areas of protection technology and in dealing with measuring and testing equipment (e.g. Omicron) is desirable.
- You express yourself confidently and are not afraid to communicate with interface partners in English
- Occasional on-call duty for malfunctions is no problem for you
- Willingness to learn
- assertiveness, independence and the ability to make contacts and work in a team characterize your personality
- A class B driving license and a willingness to travel in the service region round off your profile
