Grid Field Operations Germany (GFG) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the German electricity grid, ensuring a secure supply for our end customers and society as a whole. • You will be responsible for the cyclical inspection of equipment and buildings in the FACTS systems area.
• You will carry out operating, service and maintenance work on protection and control systems, including commissioning tests and troubleshooting.
• You will be responsible for assessing the condition of the systems.
• You will set up the work sites in accordance with our safety regulations (5 safety rules) and assume responsibility for the system in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100.
• You will instruct and coordinate external companies and ensure quality assurance during repair and construction work as well as providing support during commissioning.
• You will support project management and the documentation of our facilities and assets.
• Occupational health and safety are particularly important to us. You will therefore make an active contribution to a safe and healthy working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors.

• You have completed training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
• Further training as a master electrician/technician (m/f/d) is an advantage or is something you would like to achieve.
• Ideally, you have professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility and knowledge of measuring and testing equipment, IEC protocols, Ethernet interfaces and associated applications.
• On-call duties for fault assignments are no problem for you.
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in German and ideally also in English.
• Your personality is characterized by a willingness to learn, assertiveness, independence and the ability to make contacts and work in a team.
• You have a class B driver’s license and are willing to travel in the service region.
