Your tasks
- As a shift worker in the water treatment plant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the safe, economical and trouble-free operation of the wastewater treatment plant. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring the cooling water processes. All this in compliance with the specific requirements of the authorities and regulations in terms of quantity, quality, environment and safety. You can expect a committed environment, a varied and challenging field of activity in which you can learn and apply many things. The starting date is immediately or by arrangement.
- Supervises and coordinates all work on his/her shift with the aim of ensuring that operations run as safely, economically and smoothly as possible
- Ensures compliance with existing work instructions
- Participates in training, courses and instructions prescribed for the company
- Ensures order and cleanliness in their work area
- Intervenes independently in the event of malfunctions in order to restore proper operation
- Initiates necessary repairs to maintain trouble-free operation of the systems
- Records all significant incidents in a report in the shift book
Your qualifications
- Chemical technician or chemical worker, preferably with professional experience in a wastewater treatment plant or chemical plant
- Knowledge of, compliance with and implementation of the specified standards in relation to SHE/Q
- Knowledge of, compliance with and implementation of instructions and regulations for own work area
- Knowledge of the process control system (PCS)
- Knowledge of the chemical properties of the chemicals used
- Knowledge of workplace regulations and instructions
- Basic knowledge of office communication (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Teams)
