Would you like to join us? We are seeking a dedicated new team memberto join our SLP Master Data Setup team in Dortmund as soon as possible.
The SLP Master Data Development team (20 employees) ensures effective and efficient processes for posting device master data and processing grid connection processes in the billing systems, as well as for implementing quotation processes for metering point operators.
We’re looking for active support in the field of network connection and meter processes within the SAP S/4 Utilities billing system for Westnetz GmbH’s process and system landscape. If you enjoy familiarizing yourself with this new IT solution and driving its further development in this environment, then apply!
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- You will analyze the business processes related to meter replacement and grid connection from an end-to-end perspective, focusing primarily on cross-departmental process interfaces and their dependencies
- You will regularly define and determine KPIs to manage and evaluate the relevant processes within the department. To do this, you will delve deeply into the existing data structures and define relevant queries and dashboards
- You identify errors and opportunities for process optimization and coordinate these across the company in interdisciplinary working groups and process teams. In addition, you are responsible for implementation at Westnetz GmbH
- You drive forward further developments (including automations and workarounds) across the company as part of the development project; you also coordinate Westnetz-internal bulk data corrections and ensure targeted implementation
- You will develop conceptual frameworks for new regulatory issues related to meter replacement and grid connection processes, play key roles in relevant (including group-wide) projects, and train both internal and external staff in this area
- You will handle escalated complaints (including those directed at the managing director and regulatory authorities) and ensure that solutions are found as quickly as possible, always with a focus on the customer
What you bring to the table:
- You have successfully completed your degree (at least a bachelor’s, preferably a master’s) in (business) informatics, energy economics, business administration, or a related field, and you demonstrate excellent written and spoken German (C2 level) as well as written and spoken English (B2 level)
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the German energy industry and in-depth knowledge of a grid operator’s energy management processes, with a focus on equipment and grid connection processes
- You already have experience in the bulk analysis of process data—ideally, you already have knowledge of the master data and table structures in SAP S/4 Utilities
- You analyze complex relationships in a structured manner and view challenges as opportunities
- You don’t let difficulties derail you and always keep your vision and goals in sight
- You question existing work methods and processes to make them more efficient
- You look out for yourself and others and openly address inappropriate behavior
Here’s what we offer you:
- You’ll have the opportunity to witness and help shape the expansion of digital networks through smart metering systems firsthand
- You’ll collaborate on development projects across the E.ON Group, allowing you to quickly build a cross-company network
- When it comes to success at work, balancing career and family is crucial for many. As a certified family-friendly employer, Westnetz supports you in various life situations
- Our collective bargaining agreement provides security: We offer you attractive compensation as well as many additional benefits, including a Christmas bonus, a supplement to sick pay, accident insurance, and a company pension plan
- Your work-life balance is important to us! That’s why we offer flexible work hours and 30 days of annual vacation. With us, you can also turn your “home” into your “office” to gain even more flexibility
- You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects in a dynamic environment
