Your Responsibilities:

  • You will analyze market, supply, and demand structures in the natural gas and hydrogen markets using energy market simulations.
  • You will be responsible for selecting, managing, and providing technical guidance to external modeling providers.
  • You will derive concrete recommendations for action as well as well-founded decision-making bases for strategic issues.
  • You will present analysis results in a clear and understandable manner and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will participate in national and European working groups focused on the further development of scenarios and modeling approaches.

Your Profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or a comparable field.
  • Ideally, you have some initial experience in energy market simulation, energy system analysis, or energy economics modeling.
  • You are interested in developments in the natural gas and hydrogen sectors.
  • You are proficient in data analysis and evaluation, for example using Excel, Power BI, or Python.
  • You are known for your strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
  • You have very good German and English language skills, excel in communication, and enjoy collaborating with various departments and external partners.
