Specialist (m/f/d) in Gas Accounting Management with a Focus on Gas Cooperation Agreements

We, FairNetz GmbH, are the utility operator in Reutlingen and in many municipalities throughout the region. Your Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and programming of remote meter reading software for natural gas, including the creation of automation tasks and troubleshooting
  • Responsibility for customer support as well as the regular preparation of reports and statistics
  • Calculating substitute values in accordance with technical specifications (DVGW G 685) and providing services to external clients
  • Balancing all gas volumes in the FairNetz GmbH network area in accordance with current agreements and balancing rules in the gas sector (GaBi Gas)
  • Preparation of customer consumption forecasts to accurately determine gas demand. Optimization of balancing quality through continuous monitoring and analysis of data
  • Operation and maintenance of the gas quality monitoring system to ensure a continuous data supply
  • Implementation of new calculations for subnetworks, adjusted for biogas injections
  • Determination of monthly billing calorific values in compliance with regulations

Your Qualifications

  • Completed technical training as a master plumber and heating engineer (SHK) or as a state-certified technician in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of the energy industry, preferably in gas industry processes
  • Ideally, knowledge of the application software FirstNet, IDSpecto, and PSI
  • Quick learner, able to work independently and conscientiously, and highly motivated to learn
  • Commitment, flexibility, resilience, and the ability to work well in a team
