Strategy & Corporate Development Officer (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • Further development of the corporate strategy and derivation of sub-strategies (business area & functional strategies) in all business areas of the Stadtwerke Solingen Group
  • Derivation of long-term implementation roadmaps with specialist departments & derivation of annual targets
  • External market research into relevant trends and drivers in the energy and mobility sector
  • Technology and market screening with regard to innovations and strategic evaluation with regard to their introduction in the Stadtwerke Solingen Group (incl. preparation for committees)
  • Development and implementation monitoring of the sustainability strategy of the Stadtwerke Solingen Group (incl. climate protection strategy) in alignment with the climate protection goals of the city of Solingen
  • Assumption of (partial) strategy project management within the Stadtwerke Group
  • Representation of Stadtwerke Solingen in associations and cooperations

Your qualifications

  • Very good degree (diploma or master’s degree) in business administration or engineering
  • In-depth knowledge along the value chain of energy suppliers or public transport companies
  • 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Very good skills in the preparation and presentation of strategic topics
  • Strong methodological skills with regard to strategy development, implementation planning & success monitoring
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills and commitment
  • Ability to work independently on projects
