As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of Rhein-Kreis-Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a:n

• You collect 3D data throughout the entire coverage area using a mobile mapping vehicle and evaluate it using software
• You evaluate the collected mobile mapping data in CAD systems; you also use various software to process point clouds
• You will create training data for AI-based evaluation for the classification of objects (e.g. trees, lights, etc.)
• You carry out surveying work in the field and in the office for topography, building, stakeout, boundary and construction site surveys
• Your work will involve working with 3D laser scanners, smartphone-based recording devices and other surveying instruments such as GPS and electronic total stations

• You have successfully completed training as a surveying technician
• You have a high affinity for innovative digital processes
• You are characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, conscientiousness and the ability to work in a team
• You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
• Desirable:
• You have already gained experience in working with CAD systems and in processing point clouds
