Switchgear fitter (m/f/d) Planning, construction, operation of electricity systems
Your tasks
- Maintenance, servicing, fault clearance and repair of switchgear up to 110 kV
- Maintenance, servicing, fault clearance and repair of power and grid transformers as well as earth fault suppression coils up to 110 kV
- Fault clearance and parameterization of mains protection devices and high-voltage switchgear up to 110 kV
- Troubleshooting in faulty networks
- Maintenance of battery and compressed air systems
- Assisting with the commissioning of new systems
- Supervision and monitoring of external companies
- Willingness to participate in the on-call service
Your qualifications
- Good qualification as an energy system electronics technician, electronics technician specializing in energy technology, electrician with professional experience in the field of medium and high-voltage switchgear or equivalent
- Experience in the field of high-voltage switchgear
- Initial experience in the field of grid protection components desirable
- Confident handling of all common Office applications
- Good knowledge of the relevant regulations, guidelines and rules of electrical engineering (VDE, BGV, etc.)
- Good communication skills, a conscientious and independent way of working and the ability to work in a team
- Class B driving license required
- Class C driver’s license desirable

The Stadtwerke subsidiary Wasserwerk Bliestal GmbH also supplies city and municipal districts in the Saarpfalz district with drinking water from the 120 square kilometer Bliestal water protection area.
