Team leader (f/m/d) for renewable energies and infrastructure

Your tasks
- Technical management, coordination and development of our six to eight-strong Renewable Energy and Infrastructure team in the Energy and Climate Protection department
- Implementation and further development of our strategic direction for the expansion of renewable energies, the realignment of the electricity market design, the expansion of the electricity grids and the dismantling of the gas grid
- Developing and implementing powerful campaigns for participation in the energy transition and against the planned roll-back by the German government
- Enforcing consumer rights in the area of renewable energies and energy infrastructure in close cooperation with our lawyers
- Implementing and further developing the strategy for the expansion of offshore wind that meets both climate protection and marine conservation goals
- Collaborating with national and European partners and representing our positions to political institutions, at specialist events, in committees and networks
Your qualifications
- Completed (technical) university degree or comparable degree in a relevant subject area
- At least three years of professional experience with a profile relevant to the position in non-governmental organizations, politics, business, administration or science
- Sound knowledge in the fields of energy and climate protection, in particular the expansion of renewable energies and the further development of the necessary infrastructure
- Ability to “translate” complex issues for external communication
- Initial experience in leading teams
- Political and strategic analytical skills, a high degree of independence, motivation and very good teamwork skills
- Very good command of English and sound IT skills
