We, FairNetz GmbH, are the utility operator in Reutlingen and in many municipalities throughout the region. With approximately 400 employees, we ensure the reliable and sustainable operation of electricity, natural gas, district heating, and drinking water networks. Tasks
In this position of responsibility, you will assume technical leadership of a motivated team and drive the planning and implementation of modern power grid infrastructure.
Technical leadership and development of the Power Grids team
Responsibility for the planning, management, and implementation of construction projects in the medium- and low-voltage grid
Comprehensive oversight of grid construction projects—from project planning through cost estimation and resource planning to documentation
Planning and design of cable and overhead line networks, as well as implementation of telecommunications and multi-utility projects
Independent route planning in coordination with authorities and in compliance with legal requirements
Coordination and collaboration with municipalities, authorities, utility providers, and internal departments
Management, contracting, and oversight of external services
Ensuring efficient capacity planning to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
Candidate Profile
Successfully completed technical training in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering, with additional training to become a master craftsman or technician; alternatively, an equivalent qualification or a successfully completed college degree
Experience in project management; initial leadership experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent work style
Technical aptitude and an interest in the further development of modern energy infrastructures
Team orientation, strong communication skills, and the ability to get things done
Proficiency in common IT applications (e.g., MS Office)
