Team Leader (m/f/d) Industry in Halle (Saale)
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- Leadership & team management:
- Management and further development of a team of experts (incl. senior experts) at the Halle (Saale) site
- Networking & partner acquisition: Identification and acquisition of project partners, development and maintenance of networks in the target group of industry
- Coordination & program development: Strategic planning and implementation of the competence center’s activities
- Development of offers and content for companies: Advice and information, competence building, exchange and networking, communication of best practice examples
- Stakeholder management: management and moderation of stakeholder dialogues, working groups and advisory formats, cooperation with partners from politics, business, administration and associations
- Policy & strategy: Identification of political and economic obstacles, development of practical recommendations for action, development of energy industry and industrial policy positions
- Innovation & further development: further development of the work area through new approaches, methods and structures
- Management: Participation in the management team for the operation of the competence center (incl. concept development, time and cost planning, personnel management)
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in engineering, planning, environmental science, economics, political science or comparable courses of study
- Sound specialist knowledge or several years of work experience in the fields of energy efficiency and/or digitalization in industry is an advantage
- Experience in employee management and team coordination
- Experience in the development and management of complex projects
- Confident manner and commitment in dealing with cooperation partners, customers, etc.
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills, above-average motivation and ability to work in a team
- Careful and responsible way of working
- Very good written and spoken German skills
- As this is an infrastructure project, a place of residence in the Halle/Leipzig area is required
