Team leader operational metering point operation (m/f/d)

With 25 employees, the Metering Point Operation team ensures that electricity and gas meters are reliably installed, operated and read. We ensure the smooth operation of modern and intelligent metering systems, the provision of correct metering data and compliance with all legal requirements.
Your tasks
- Meter management
- You will coordinate and monitor technical meter operation for electricity and gas meters – from system-side order creation, installation and removal of measuring devices, calibration checks and regular replacements to remote reading. You will be responsible for the operation of our meter warehouse, including ordering materials and meters and the reliable provision of metering technology to installation companies. You will also ensure blockages in the network and support the introduction of new IT systems.
- Smart meter rollout
- You will be involved in the strategy and implementation of the smart meter rollout, ensure compliance with legal requirements and coordinate technical and IT requirements. You will also coordinate metering point operation billing.
- Controllability according to § 14a EnWG
- You implement the technical requirements for controllability in accordance with Section 14a EnWG and manage the rollout of the relevant equipment.
- External service providers
- You plan and manage tenders for external service providers from an economic point of view.
- Business management & reporting
- You analyze technical key figures for economic management, support quarterly and annual financial statements as well as planning and forecasting.
- Quality management
- You review and optimize work processes and ensure the quality of internal and external services.
- Employee management
- You will manage a team of six direct employees and three foreman areas with a total of 19 foremen/fitters.
Your qualifications
- You have a university degree (diploma or master’s degree) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
- You have several years of experience in metering and metering point operation as well as in electrical engineering and measurement technology.
- You have a strong understanding of business administration and sound knowledge of project management.
- You are very familiar with the applicable laws, regulations and standards.
- You have impressive leadership skills, make clear decisions and are happy to take on responsibility.
- You think analytically and strategically and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
- You work in a team-oriented manner, communicate clearly and respectfully and actively contribute to constructive cooperation.
- A good command of English rounds off your profile.
