Technical Account Manager (f/m/d) Integration of power generation plants – international

Together with our partner companies emsys VPP and emsys grid services, we at energy & meteo systems do our best every day to efficiently integrate renewable energies into electricity grids and markets. To this end, we offer our customers – electricity traders and grid operators worldwide – pioneering software products and full services. In addition to wind and solar power forecasts, these include virtual power plants for controlling decentralized energy systems and a platform concept for forward-looking grid planning.

• As a technical account manager for international markets, you will support technicians (our customers’ service providers) and marketers (electricity traders) in connecting energy systems to our control room.
• You form the central interface to technical experts and marketers and coordinate between the various players.
• Via telephone or video call, you advise customers from the office on the best technology to use and coordinate the details of the connections.
• You regularly exchange information with our customers, provide updates on the project status, discuss the next steps and support the integration of the systems into our control room.
• In the event of a fault, you will also act as a competent mediator between all parties involved, start with fault analysis and initiate troubleshooting.

• Your basis is a degree in engineering or natural sciences – preferably in electrical engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering, business informatics or similar – or a completed technical apprenticeship, preferably as an electronics technician for energy and building technology or IT specialist.
• Alternatively, we can also imagine a lateral entry, e.g. as an industrial clerk, management assistant for wholesale and foreign trade management.
• Experience as a sales engineer, customer consultant or in a similar position in customer service or technical support would be ideal.
• Knowledge of communication standards – industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-104, OPC UA) – as well as the functionality of VPN technologies and networks is desirable.
• You have a good command of German and business fluent written and spoken English. Other languages – especially French – are an advantage.
• Process management is your thing: you are well organized, value teamwork and develop processes with others in an analytical manner.
• You are already familiar with the energy market, renewable energies and electricity grids or are open to these topics.
