We supply households, public institutions, and commercial and industrial businesses with electricity, natural gas, drinking water, and district heating—thereby making an important contribution to the quality of life in Schaumburg. Our service area covers 500 square kilometers and serves approximately 125,000 residents. Our approximately 80 employees ensure that the energy supply runs smoothly every day. For us, the responsible and sustainable use of energy and water is just as much a matter of course as our commitment to the people who live here.

  • You have completed a technical degree and have a strong practical understanding of hands-on work. Or you have completed a relevant vocational training program in building and utility services, followed by further training—for example, as a technician specializing in building systems engineering or as a master installer and heating engineer.
  • Understanding of energy and business management concepts
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts
  • Knowledge in the area of planning, e.g., building services engineering
