Stuttgart Netze ensures that people in Stuttgart have a reliable supply of electricity and gas around the clock. As a distribution grid operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600-kilometre-long electricity grid and the 2,100-kilometre-long gas grid in the state capital. In addition to ensuring security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the grids in order to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. We also look after 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital of Stuttgart on its path to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees.
Your tasks
- Variety guaranteed: Exciting and varied tasks await you with us
- GIS expertise required: You will continue to manage the electricity plan in Smallworld GIS – including graphics, factual data and internal workings
- Focus on quality: You monitor and check the grid changes made by service providers and technically approve the services
- Data maintenance: You carry out data corrections and refinement measures to continuously improve data quality
- Keeping an eye on factual data: You maintain equipment data, in particular on substation interiors, house connections and cable distribution cabinets
- Line information: You provide line data in PDF or georeferenced formats such as SHP, DXF and DWG
Your qualifications
- Professional basis: You have completed training as a geomatics technician (f/m/d), technical draftsman (f/m/d), surveying technician (f/m/d), cartographer (f/m/d) or a comparable qualification through professional experience
- GIS know-how: You have experience with Smallworld GIS or very good knowledge of other geoinformation systems
- IT expertise: You are confident working with Office 365, ideally you are also familiar with the MS Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI) and SAP
- Industry knowledge: You have knowledge of distribution network infrastructures in the electricity or gas sectors
- Personality counts: You work independently, have a confident manner and value teamwork
- Language level: You have a very good command of German (at least level B2)
