Your tasks
- We are looking for a committed and competent technical expert to support our international service team in the field of modern battery systems for rail vehicles. Yes – we mean exactly you!
- You are the central contact person in 3rd level support and take over the structured error analysis – via remote access or directly at the customer’s site.
- You will carry out worldwide service assignments, advise customers and provide international training for technicians, partners and operators.
- You will be involved in the integration and commissioning of lithium battery systems and ensure a smooth handover to the customer.
- You will also contribute your expertise to product development and customer projects, define system requirements from a service perspective and support validation during tests and inspections.
- You will also be actively involved in internal development projects, such as the creation of service software or battery simulators.
Your qualifications
- Professional experience

- You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or energy technology – or are a master craftsman or technician in the field of electrical engineering.
- As a qualified electrician for live working (AuS), you have the necessary qualifications and safety in handling electrical systems.
- You have experience with lithium battery systems and battery management systems and are familiar with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, TRDP or Profinet.
- Measurement and diagnostic technology is part of your everyday life, as is PLC programming or working with tools such as MS 365, DOORS, PowerBI or PowerApps as well as FlexPro analysis software and platforms such as GitHub, SVN and Redmine.
- Analytical thinking, initiative and a sense of responsibility characterize you – as well as the ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of your working time).
