Technical Manager (m/f/d) Biogas Production
We are the DAH Group (DAH), an integrated agricultural and energy company that produces gas, electricity and heat from renewable energy sources. We cultivate more than 20,000 hectares of agricultural land and operate 23 biogas plants within a radius of around 200 km around Berlin. Our agricultural land is operated by more than 30 farms at 14 locations.
Your tasks
- Management of a biogas plant with regard to technical, operational and biological processes as well as coordination of work processes at the site
- Interface with the specialist departments in Oranienburg to ensure plant operation complies with licensing and environmental legislation – in compliance with BauGB, BImSchG and EEG
- Monitoring of all processes, documentation of measurement and work results
- Responsibility for cost and revenue planning
- Preparation of environmental reports and deadline monitoring
- Technical and disciplinary management of the team and efficient resource planning
- Optimization of processes – also with regard to quality standards and occupational safety
- Supporting exciting technical development and conversion projects at the plant
- Organization of inspections and coordination with authorities
- Contact person (f/m/d) for raw material suppliers and fermentation residue customers
Your qualifications
- Completed engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical and plant engineering or environmental technology
- Alternatively, a sound training as a technician or master craftsman or a degree in agricultural sciences
- Proven expertise in the field of biogas and special sensitivity for the complex and sensitive processes of the plant
- Several years of professional experience with initial management experience
- Competent appearance paired with a cooperative management style
- Confident use of the MS Office package
- Class B driving license
