Technical Manager (m/f/d) Fuel Elements
Your tasks
- Technical responsibility for the planning, introduction, further development, maintenance and repair of processes and systems for the manufacture and testing of components for fuel assembly production
- Qualification of systems and processes for the production of components for fuel assemblies in accordance with specifications
- Management of approx. 20 engineers, technicians, master craftsmen and skilled workers, including personnel qualification and motivation, divided into 2 groups
- Promotion and support of working groups for exchange with product development and production
- Support in the development and implementation of programs to increase efficiency and quality
- Co-responsible (m/f/d) in the assigned work area with regard to operational safety and environmental protection
Your qualifications
- Completed studies at a technical college or university in a technical or scientific field
- Several years of experience in the areas of process qualification and process support with a focus on joining processes for metallic workpieces
- Very good command of written and spoken German and good command of English; basic knowledge of French desirable
- Comprehensive familiarity with the manufacturing and testing processes used (laser welding, machining, forming, heat treatment, optical and tactile measurement)
- Mastery of the technical and scientific fundamentals of the manufacturing processes and machines used as well as standard MS Office applications
- Knowledge of personnel management, work planning, occupational safety and labor law
- Expertise in the fields of control technology, maintenance, quality inspection and statistical process control
- Experience with project management (costs, deadlines, organization)
- Goal-oriented, analytical and independent way of working
- Personnel management skills, ability to work in a team, organizational skills and initiative
- Confident manner towards customers and suppliers as well as strong commitment
